Your Time Matters Calendar Your Way
/Your professional life runs on your calendar. You look at it every day. You might as well tweak it so that it shows you most effectively what you need to see.
The Time Matters Calendar has amazing flexibility. The options can be overwhelming. No wonder you might not have explored various things it can do.
Let’s start with the most basic setting: How many days do you want to see at a glance?
I like the Work Week view.
With color-coding, you immediately see which appointments involve billable client work (green, like money), which ones are deadlines (red, like blood) and other types, all of which you can configure.
The screenshot, above, is low resolution for readability. With a larger, high resolution monitor, you can show much more detail at once.
Set the Calendar to Appear Immediately
I recommend setting the Calendar to appear immediately after you open Time Matters. To set that option:
Go to Main Menu / File / Setup / General / User Level
At the top of the User Level Setup window, choose Calendar - Work Week, or your preferred view, from the drop-down menu.
Set the Number of Days for the Work Week Calendar
You can show up to seven days at once on the Work Week Calendar. To set the number of days:
Right-click anywhere in any Calendar.
Click Display Options.
On the Daily/Detail/Work Week tab that appears, check the boxes for each of the days.
